What is a ghost walk?
The Willoughby Ghost Walk is a guided walking tour through the Historic District of Willoughby,
Ohio. Willoughby, a beautiful city on the shores of Lake Erie, was founded in 1798 and has
been part of 6 different counties in Ohio. On the Ghost Walk, you will be entertained by your
guide as they regale you with an enjoyable assortment of haunted tales, ghost stories, and
interesting histories of the downtown Willoughby area. In addition, you will hear about some of
the amazing unexplainable encounters experienced by our residents, shopkeepers, guests and
guides during the Willoughby Ghost Walk.

The Willoughby Ghost Walk covers approximately 12 blocks and takes about 1 hour and 45
minutes. You will be walking on paved sidewalks so the Ghost Walk is for EVERYONE! Tours
operate Friday evenings May through July beginning at 8 p.m. AND Friday and Saturday
evenings August through October beginning at 8 p.m. in downtown Willoughby, Ohio.
